Abstract
A detailed investigation of ecological effects caused by land use/cover changes and their impact on ecosystem services is of great importance for territorial spatial planning and sustainable regional development. Based on six periods of land use data of Huaihai Economic Zone(HEZ) in 1995, 2000, 2005, 2010, 2015 and 2020, the value of ecosystem services in the HEZ and its spatial and temporal evolution characteristics from 1995 to 2020 were evaluated using the equivalent factor with spatial and temporal corrections. The results show that: (1) From 1995 to 2020, land use types in the HEZ are dominated by farmland and the area of construction land and water area has increased. The conversion of land types is mainly between farmland and construction land, forest and grassland and construction land, and water area and farmland; (2) Under the influence of land use changes, ecosystem service value(ESV) in the study area generally shows a fluctuating downward trend from 1995 to 2020. The profit of regional ESV mainly comes from the shift of farmland, wetland, and built-up land to water areas; the shift of farmland to built-up land, and woodland and grassland to farmland, is the main reason for the loss of regional ESV; (3) The sensitivity of ESV in the study area to the net shift between farmland and forest land, between grassland, water and construction land, between water and wetland and built-up land, and between woodland and built-up land is high, and the absolute value of coefficient of improved cross sensitivity(CICS) of the shift process is greater than 0; and (4) From 1995 to 2020, the spatial distribution of ESV in the HEZ is relatively stable, showing a significant positive spatial correlation effect, and the spatial effect is slowly weakening over the years. The obtained results can provide a case reference for exploring the mutual influences between land use and ecosystem services, offering theoretical insight into the construction of ecological civilization and sustainable development in the HEZ.
