Amidst the swift evolution of information technology and the profound advancement of digital transformation, new quality productive forces have surfaced as a pivotal catalyst for societal advancement. As the frontier of knowledge innovation and technology application, the enhancement of data governance in universities is a great significance for optimizing resource allocation, improving management efficiency, and promoting educational innovation. Confronted with the challenges plaguing traditional data governance within universities, including the pronounced phenomena of data silos, the heterogeneity in data quality, and the salient risks to data security, this paper focuses on the research of university data governance driven by new quality productive forces. Capitalizing on the strengths of new quality productive forces in areas such as data resource sharing and interoperability, data security, privacy safeguarding, and data quality enhancement, this paper articulates a novel suite of countermeasures for university data governance. These measures aim to strengthen the overall level of university data governance and meet the strong demands of the new quality productive forces era on university data governance, thereby providing more robust support and strategic support for university informatization construction and digital transformation.
