Abstract
Shanxi Province is located in the eastern wing of the Loess Plateau, which is rich in coal resources and one of the main coal production bases in China. However, with the passage of time, high intensity of coal mining has caused irreversible damage to the local ecological environment, and the decline of habitat quality has become an urgent problem to be solved. In order to have a deeper understanding of the ecological status of Shanxi Province, this paper takes the land use data from 2005 to 2020 as the research object, and starts from the landscape ecological risk, comprehensively analyzes the spatial and temporal distribution characteristics of landscape ecological risk in Shanxi Province. Based on the research paradigm of "source identification-resistance surface construction-corridor extraction", the Morphological Spatial Pattern Analysis (MSPA) is used to identify the key ecological source; the resistance surface model is constructed under the comprehensive consideration of the dual influences of natural and human factors; and the Minimum Cumulative Resistance (MCR) model is used to determine the specific path of the ecological corridor. Based on the above research results, the complex network theory is used to optimize and test the provincial ecological network by adding edges and combining the results of landscape ecological risk assessment. Finally, a set of systematic and comprehensive optimization schemes is provided for the construction of the ecological network in Shanxi Province. This paper provides theoretical guidance for rational planning of coal mining intensity under the constraints of regional ecological environment, continuously improving the ecosystem function of Shanxi Province, and promoting the high-quality development of the region.
